*The Improvers/Intermediate Class is structured to encourage as many as possible to join in, including some near Beginners who are brave enough to try it! So the class begins with some easy Improver Level moves and halfway through we add some more challenging techniques for Intermediate Level dancers.

NEW! WEST COAST SWING IN WINCHESTER
Ever wanted to be able to dance to any kind of music?
We are bringing this wonderful and very smooth partner dance originating
from the West Coast of the United States to Winchester.
“West Coast Swing (WCS) is a partner dance derived from Lindy Hop.
It is characterised by a distinctive elastic look that results from its basic
extension-compression technique of partner connection, and is danced
primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. The dance allows for
both partners to improvise steps while dancing together.” – Wikipedia
Due to the fact that it can be danced to almost any kind of music, it is
gaining ever increasing popularity.

Salsa Medals
We offer our Salsa Friends the option to do various stages of Salsa Medals at Preston Candover, starting with Bronze and working their way up to Gold Star! All you need to do is attend our courses on a regular basis and then take one or two lessons just before the exam at the actual place where the exams will take place with our friend Joe, who regularly attends our Intermediate Class in Preston Candover!
