Lifting our spirits with some great Dancing Fun!

I am so happy that they managed to get Strictly Come Dancing off the ground in spite of our current situation with Covid-19!

 I don’t know about you, but Max and I love watching it every week and it’s a staple fixture in our weekend!
Dancing is just what we need in times like this! Dancing lifts our spirits, keeps us moving, raises our Serotonin level – our Happy Hormone, allows us to connect with others and reconnect with our own partner on a new level, lets our mind focus on something else, creates new connections in our brain and makes us feel sooo good!
Max and I feel so blessed to be able to dance and we love our live streamed interactive dance classes – all of them! Never in a million years did I think we would be running our Dance & Yoga Classes from our Cottage Sitting Room – ha, ha, I would have laughed! Yet, we are having such fun with our Dance & Yoga Friends and it works so well – whether it is all our Zumba & Zumba Gold Classes or our partner dances Salsa & West Coast Swing. Yes, we have jigged our programme a bit to include a lot of footwork in our partner dance classes and we have added Club Cha Cha to our repertoire which is “The Hit of the Lockdown”! 💃🕴
Dancing is so utterly liberating! With so many of us working from home at the moment it gives us the chance to really move! – and you know what? – you don’t need a lot of space for it! The smallest space will do!
Let’s keep on dancing and we’ll dance our way through all of this together!
